Anyone know of a good company that can provide real-time leads? (Term life, auto and homeowner insurance, mortgage refinancing, long term care)

My father just bought his first house this year. About 5 months ago, we've lived in an apartment in the United States our whole lives, so dont know everything about owning a home. We just had our first hurricane as homeowners, and man do i wish we lived in an apartment. We had a flooded basement, because power went out causing the sump pump to stop working, leading to about a foot of water. We were prepared and moved everything atleast 3 feet high etc. We a finished basement, and I can see the physical damage to walls, and floors, maybe even our washing machine, I dont know. My question is, will my homeowners insurance cover these damages, if we would like to have them fixed, for example have the bottom part of walls redone, or tiles redone, because they look horrible. Some of them came off when we were cleaning up. Plus, I dont know who our home insurance is, how do we find out? The Point: Will Homeowners insurance cover water damage from a Hurricane, redoing some portions of the walls and floor, to prevent mold? and How do I find out who my homeowners insurance is? Thanks also will they cover mold inspection and professional cleanup?
They will not cover damage from a flood (meaning rising water surrounding the home, or a sudden deluge of flowing water hitting the home). If it is simply seepage of ground water, then you might have a shot. However, my bigger concern is your question "How do I find out who my homeowners insurance is". If you have only had the home for five months and you do not remember where you got insurance, then you probably do not have insurance. If did not get a carrier, then you do not have one, and nothing will be covered.
I live in California. 7 months ago, we did a complete kitchen remodel. New cabinets, new wood floor, new appliances, countertops, etc. I just found out today that my dishwasher drain line has been leaking for 7 months. We didnt detect it immediately because the kitchen floor is slightly uneven and the water was pooling towards the back of the wall. Behind my dishwasher and under the floor, it is VERY WET. The drywall is soaked, the floor is saturated and my cabinets are showing signs of water saturation. My question is....can I file a claim against my homeowners insurance? Im fearful that there is massive water damage behind the walls and that a quick fix will only lead to more repairs down the road.
A sudden, accidental water leak is usually covered. A long term leak, though, that's been happening for seven months, very well may NOT be covered. There probably IS massive water damage and rot. If you don't want to read your policy to see if there are limitations on water damage that happens over a period of time, call your agent, and ask, "hypothetically", if there is going to be water damage if, say, your sister in law had this exact problem at her house.
