Only 15 players in Major League Baseball history have ever turned an unassisted triple play. In 120 YEARS. Now a six-year-old has joined the club!
Due in large part to terrible base-running by his opponents, but still.
In a youth baseball game in Georgia, a soft line drive floated directly to shortstop Ross Bernath, who nabbed it cleanly, raced back to touch third base, then chased down the somehow-still-advancing runner from second. Score it 5, unassisted!
The only sad part? Ross' career may have just peaked.
