2.
The use of Mobile Suica payments as a method of payment when purchasing ekiSh products
3.
A gift of a badge (digital content) featuring a penguin, the Suica character

JR East x ekiSh

?
1.
The sale of bullet train products (digital content) produced with the permission of JR East

?

Currently running bullet trains, such as the Hayabusa Tohoku bullet train, will be available as ekiSh products, as digital content on ekiSh. ekiSh users (ekiShers) can access ekiSh at each station for every train. After he or she checks in, using the GPS feature on a GPS-enabled phone, smart phone or tablet device to send his or her location information, they can purchase the relevant products.

Trains available as ekiSh Products
Hayabusa, E2 Series (0 Line) Asama, E2 Series (1000 Line) Hayate, E3 Series Komachi, E3 Series Tsubasa, E4 Series MAX Yamabiko, E1 Series MAX Toki

?
2.
The use of Mobile Suica payments as a method of payment when purchasing ekiSh products

?

ekiSh products are digital content of illustrations with little dioramas depicting famous items and tourist spots from all around Japan. They can be purchased when you check in at a train station as mementos of your rail journey or as souvenirs to give to family and friends.

As a new method of payment for these products, we introduced the use of Mobile Suica payments. This enables easier and faster purchases of ekiSh products.

* Mobile Suica payments are only supported on cell phones that support their use.

?
3.
A gift of a badge (digital content) featuring a penguin, the Suica character

?

When using ekiSh, you can receive an ekiSh badge when specific conditions are met. For example, if you check in at a station whose name includes the Chinese character for dog, you can receive the Dog Badge.

We've added a penguin, the Suica character, to the ekiSh badges. When anyone purchases an ekiSh product with a Mobile Suica payment, they will receive a gift. Furthermore, the more Mobile Suica payments that are made, the higher the rank of the penguin badge you receive.

Great East Japan Earthquake ekiSh Donations Project

ekiSh will donate all sales of the Hayabusa Tohoku bullet train ekiSh product until August 31st, 2011 to the Great East Japan Earthquake, in the form of a donation to the Japan Red Cross. We are calling this the Great East Japan Earthquake ekiSh Donations Project.

About ekiSh

The catch phrase reads, 'A Station Game x A Station Portal'. ekiSh is a location information service that allows you to participate in a stamp rally that targets all of the train stations throughout Japan. When you visit an actual station and check in using the GPS feature on your GPS-enabled phone, smart phone or tablet, you can receive a stamp for that station. When conditions are met, you can get badges as well, and collect special products for unique localities. You can also 'collect' restaurant information for the station area as well as weather reports, and exchange information on Twitter with other ekiSh users (ekiShers).
'At every station in Japan, collect, keep on collecting.'
